Getting healthy Foodie Style #3

I got to make this quick. But I weighed this morning, and I wanted to share with everyone because I was so excited. New weight? 171 lbs. I lost 4 lbs since Monday morning. Not bad right? I will be weighing every Monday and Thursday mornings. Yesterday Food was boring, nothing to talk about. Jack (my husband) grilled chicken. I took off all the skin and any fat, dipped in hot sauce. It was yummy, thank you honey! And green beans. Exercise? I was disappointed because I couldn't go as far on the bike as the day before. At one mile I was feeling it burn. I guess I was sore from the day before, just didn't know it until I got on the bike. Anyway I pushed and pushed and I got it up to 3.6 miles. Did it hurt? YES. But when I got on the scale this morning it was all worth it. Thank you everyone for all of your support. Thank you Nathan for calling me last night. That was very sweet. Gotta go! Blog you later!

  1. WOW! That's great news! Just think, if you've lost 4 lbs in less than a week, and let's say you loose that but not less than 2 lbs a week, by Christmas you'll be at your goal. How awesome is that?! What a great Christmas gift for Mom. Not to mention for yourself as well.

Now, I'm not a nutritionist, but I hear celery juice drinks give you energy. Maybe if you drink just a small amount before exercising.
Juice celery, carrot and apple. Not sure how many calories, but drinking 1/2 to 1 cup only.
Just making sure it's mostly celery juice with a little carrot and apple to give it some flavor. Also I know you like bloody mary's, make a healthy drink "without the alcohol" as follows.
Celery juice, tomato juice, celery salt, dash of pepper, hot sauce and topped with a celery stick. Of course you can use you're imagine to create your own celery drink since I know how much of a foody you are. Oh, and don't forget to share them with us.

    Go girl go!
