This is my first blog. I got inspired by the festival this past weekend. I will be blogging about food events, local restaurants, farmer's markets, recipes, cooking experiences and even grocery stores. So stay tuned to a local prospective of my passion of Food and drinks.
Now about the Festival!!!!!!!
What can I say? The wine and food festival was awesome. It is definitely a first class event. From wine and food to the entertainment from our favorite chefs. Let's face it, the chefs are like our friends. We see them on a daily basis. We know about their cooking styles, their lifestyles. What they love to eat, what they don't care for. What's the Best thing they've ever had.
And you know what they know about us? Well, let me tell you. From out of the mouth of Sunny (Cooking for Real), they know that they are living their dream. A dream they might not have if it weren't for all of us out their watching and supporting. That's what she told my niece and I. She gave us a great big hug and told us thank you. She made it about us and not about her. That is true class right there. And Robert Irvine? Robert is awesome. He was walking around, we practically bumped into him. We were both headed to the same place. The Amstel Lite booth. Wine is fine, but sometimes you just want a beer. Anyway he took the time to talk to us, sign our book and take pictures. (Hey, you guys, he looks better in person than on TV. And we all know we thought the was "impossible") Robert was very sweet. So for his kindness we got him that beer he needed. Make that two beers he needed. Okay, one was for a friend. But it sounded good. Thank you Robert and Sunny for making our day.

Robert Irvine is my new favorite chef. I always liked him on Dinner Impossible. But meeting him in person was really nice. He took the time to talk to, sign our book and take pictures. And we took the time to get him that beer he needed. He is one buff dude, just mingling with the crowds.
